Valmus Law

In 2017, I was the Cobb County Family Law Bar President. Since 2007,  I  have reviewed all family law cases from the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and I write the case law update section for the family law newsletter. 

I graduated from Kennesaw State University sum cum laude in 1998.

Then, I graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude in 2001 and was in the top 10% of the class.

I have been an instructor at KSU since 2003 teaching civil litigation II. 

My practice focuses primarily  on Family Law and Criminal Defense, but I handle other types of cases such as personal injury and general civil litigation. 

I am originally from Pensacola, FL and moved to the Atlanta area in the 1980s. While in law school, I interned for the Cobb County Solicitor's office from 2000-2001 prosecuting misdemeanor cases. After that, I was an associate with Moore, Ingram, Johnson & Steele from 2001-2008 and was a partner from 2008-2017.  I started the Valmus Law Firm in February, 2017.
